Systems Executive Program

Intensive Course for Professionals

The foundation of education and the ability to think for oneself implies the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills. However, what these skills are and how they are attained, seem to be a mystery to us until we see them in action as they often seem like a magical ability to see the invisible.

The core of the Systems Executive Program initiative is systems thinking. Systems thinking is a holistic approach to analysis that focuses on the way that a system’s constituent parts interrelate and how systems work over time and within the context of larger systems. The Systems Executive Program is an intense one-week program with a specific focus on developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. It incorporates The Sawhney Model used in the onsite Systems Master’s Program with hands-on real-world problem-solving capabilities that integrates the concept of reliability into learning objectives with a real-world application.

The Sawhney Model has been tested in multiple manufacturing, government, and healthcare settings. Results have been transformational productivity with significantly reduced employee effort and stress. Critical problem-solving transcends manufacturing, government, and healthcare and applies to other domains. As a result, participants demonstrate a higher level of engagement within their organizations and are committed to improving processes that build effective, sustainable, and people-centered environments.

The Systems Executive Program is the perfect professional development opportunity for professionals who are responsible for defining, planning, managing, and supporting learning organizations with interdependent units, each with its specific function and interrelated responsibilities within a given organization.

This opportunity offers an innovative response to the emerging needs of organizational growth. Participants will be able to promote flexibility to enhance employee education while supporting the established goals of their organizations. The outline of the program syllabus is a flexible structure that can be customized to meet organizational needs. A certificate of completion will be awarded upon successful completion of the program.

Re-envision what’s possible in times of rapid and inevitable change by developing the skills that enable you to achieve the desired outcomes through a more effective way of thinking, communicating, acting, and achieving superior results. Broaden your thinking, articulate critical thinking, and problem-solving in a new way. Seeing the invisible begins with paying attention to the visible.
