Where You Will Stay
During your time at UT, you will stay at Laurel (Laurel Hall) Residence Hall, located north of the main campus.

- Laurel Hall is located north of the main campus.
- When taking a cab/taxi from the airport, ask to be taken to Laurent Residence Hall, 1615 Laurel Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37916
- Front desk service is 24/7, but for security purposes, front door will be locked from 1:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. If yor arrive within this time frame, call over the interphone to get access to front desk. The registration process will take about fifteen minutes per person.
- A maximum of two people will be assigned per apartment. Arrangements on roommates will be done after the information sessions. Women will be assigned individual rooms, and men may or may not get individual rooms, depending on availability.

IMPORTANT: If you arrive on June 27th (early arrival) or departing on August 1st (late departure), an additional cost will be charged per night per person, payable at the front desk.
How You Will Get Around
Once settled, you may use Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) for transportation. KAT routes and times vary during the day, so visit the KAT website for the most up-to-date information. You can purchase a thirty-day pass, which will allow you to ride the KAT bus unlimited times during the program.
“The T,” the University of Tennessee Transportation System, is also operated by KAT. The T transports students traveling late at night. There are also free trolley services from UT to downtown.
