BoatMate Trailers designs, manufactures and distributes high-end custom boat trailers. Primary customers are manufacturers and dealers of ski and wake board boats including Malibu Boats, MasterCraft Boats, MB Sports, Moomba Boats, Ski Centurion, Ski Nautique and Supra Boats. Other customers include manufacturers and dealers of runabout boats and bass boats including Bryant Boats, Chaparral Boats, Cobalt Boats, Monterey Boats, Regal Boats, Bullet Bass Boats, Stroker Boats and Allison Performance Boats.

 

Clayton Homes is the largest builder of manufactured housing and modular homes in the US. Clayton Homes is owned by Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway. Clayton’s corporate headquarters are in Maryville, Tennessee.

 

Covenant Health is an integrated health system organization based in Knoxville, Tennessee, with operations throughout the Knoxville metropolitan area. Covenant Health was formed in 1996 by the merger of Fort Sanders Health System of Knoxville with the organization that operated Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.

 

DENSO Corporation is a global automotive components manufacturer headquartered in the city of Kariya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. After becoming independent from Toyota Motors, it was founded as Nippon Denso Co. Ltd. in 1949. About 25% of the company is owned by Toyota Motor.

 

Headquartered in Knoxville, Kelsan offers the region’s largest selection of sanitary maintenance related products and has consistently served as the leading “Jan-San” distributor throughout the Southeast. In 1999, Kelsan continued its growth by adding packaging supplies to its offering by acquiring Industrial Paper and Packaging Corporation.

 

Meritor, Inc. is an American corporation headquartered in Troy, Michigan, which manufactures automobile components for military suppliers, trucks, and trailers. Meritor is a Fortune 500 company. In 1997, Rockwell International spun off its automotive business as Meritor.

The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is a federally owned corporation in the United States created by congressional charter on May 18, 1933, to provide navigation, flood control, electricity generation, fertilizer manufacturing, and economic development to the Tennessee Valley, a region particularly affected by the Great Depression. The enterprise was a result of the efforts of Senator George W. Norris of Nebraska. TVA was envisioned not only as a provider, but also as a regional economic development agency that would use federal experts and electricity to more quickly modernize the region’s economy and society.
